Compix Inc., Imaging Systems, was incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania in 1987 by Bill Burnip and John Gayler. On February 5, 2003 -- Compix Inc., Imaging Systems was acquired by Hamamatsu Photonics Management Corporation.

Compix provides affordable system solutions and software to enable digital image acquisition, processing, visualization and quantitation combined with advanced experimental control.
